Sometimes I sit back and watch people create opinions about me. We are all entitled to our opinions and I respect yours. In fact sometimes various opinions get quite interesting, especially on this blog.I like how people sympathize with me—Oh, poor you. You lost your love.
There are others who would stop by, look at me and say oh, you loner. Its alright. You will be fine.
And then the same people will say “You have such a great social life!” when they read a funny post on the blog.
In all honesty, I would admit that I seldom like to talk about myself. It doesn’t mean that there is something wrong with me that I would not talk to you. If you ask me, you will get an answer but I don’t like to go on and on about myself just because.
This blog is not a place to rant. Not for me. I never had a need to rant on the blog. I do not usually write about my own self. True, at times I have opinions and I share them. I would like to think that even the posts from my own life serve some sort of purpose other than just a rant because this blog is not about me. It’s about you. This blog is not a sad story of a lost love, nor is the author of this blog trying to find love. This blog is not complaining. It is filled with no regrets. It is not about tears.
This blog, as the title suggests, is about “LIFE”. Life. Period. It is about emotions associated with life. It is about literature. It is about language. It is about smiles. It is about love—the universal love.
As far as yours truly is concerned, I am amazed at how some people talk about me with such conviction as if they've examined every line of my palms, every thread of my wrap, but its been a million miles of idyllic trot down the road.
I am not what this blog suggests me to be. I am not what this blog doesn't suggests me to be. I am not the girl stereotyped by the "having de attitude" repute. I am not the woman defined by the color of my skin nor the disharmony of my soul.
But, then again, you are entitled to your opinions :-)
Don't you think a bit of you comes through when you write about emotions, literature, language, smiles, love,LIFE ???
Because what I write about them would be entirely different from what you feel and write about them. Hence what life is to you is different from what life is to any one else - so when you write about life here, I feel you write about your life. Not the universal life. And that gives people the room to judge you.
If you say whatever s written here is entirely fictitious, then also it reveals a lot about the writer. As there s a saying - writing is both revealing and concealing :D
A nice post which made me especially sit up and think since you are one of the first blogs I started following and trust me I have seen the ebbs and flows of your writing. I have not examined every line of your palm or every thread of your wrap but in a minuscule way, I have an opinion about you which I feel is correct as far as your writings go. So would each and every reader of yours.
don't care yaar..people love to gossip talk about others we both know that right..its completely upto you to write about what you want to and don't and just becoz someone says you are so and so that doesn't make you like that..to hell with them..on the other hand if thinking bout it makes ya happy be happy xD

there came a time when i began to iddentify myself with my blog taht it jus struck me that the blog ahd a power over me. so i stopped writing. well, its not like that with you.
but reading your posts, an extinct writer, feel slike coming back, only to heal a little more.

hey gal i totally agree with you but actually blog is a thing where we come to put our unheard deep emotions....this is a place where we r free to say wad we really feel....some feelings dat r vry deep but we can't share wid ne1.....it is nt abt tears or smiles, pain or happiness, it is just about us...wad we feel nd dats only thing matter.....atleast i think dis is d reasn y i am here...nd evry1 else too.......

that would be great on your part if you do not write based on what you feel about yourself or for others...
simply because you only want to write about life...but what is life if not inspired by your own thoughts and emotions...
and how can you express your thoughts about life if it has nothing to do about yourself?

obviously i love your work. i talk about life too or something like it. when i m really agitated is when i pour for myself. shux u make me realise how genre less i m!
I agree with u on almost all aspects u mentioned out here...Everyone around is interested to know what went wrong in any damn relationship so that they have some material to have a nice masala gossip over lunch. And since they are trying to extract some kind of infromation out of the person suffering heartbreak, they bound to give those one liners of 'Don't worry, you'l be fine or there may be some one better waiting for you"

As a reader of your blog(which is btw, a wonderful read) I somehow come to know you through your writings.Whether it is a funy post or a sensitive issue you are writing abt, whether it is a love poetry or a random everyday story,shades of you reflect through those posts...
Today when u explicitly mentioned it, I realised that I haven't read a post on your blog where you have cribbed abt anything in life and thats great dear! THere are many ppl around here who are writing just to get rid of -ves in their life by putting all the hate in words...Hope they find solace somehwere! Even I do it at times:(
But you are great the way u r! And no one here holds any right to judge you! Enjoying the literature should be the prime purpose rather than judging ppl around here..

I think its the strong first-person narrative you often use plus your intense style of writing and your appeal to subjective emotions that makes an unguarded reader tempted to make the mistake of reducing you to your writings :)

ahem... a different topic altogether... a vry gud one.. but surely surprised... frankly speaking, i have never attributed ur posts to ur personal life except ofcourse the life is funny series... not just ur blog - any blog for that matter - cos i dont think anyone would rant long about one's personal life esply love...
actually, the comments make it sound more real than the post itself... however, i think all or atleast most of the ppl would have read it for the wonderful way in which you write... i luv ur writin by the way..
perhaps, opinions are made based on the environment one lives in - i always read them as fiction cos in my part of the place - rships hardly exist - in the sense 70% of the marriages are arranged by elders of the family... it would have been 90 but am reserving 30 for ppl who dont mind falling in love despite knowing that it would be hard convincing the family...
in other societies - it is the way of life n every1 goes thru it n somehow - whether they like it or not - they end up forming opinions... or not... i dono...
